THE WHY BEHIND RENTING VS. BUYING
I saw a need for beautiful wedding rentals in the form of signage back in 2016. I was helping my good friend plan her wedding when she asked if I could make her signage. I said absolutely, and maybe we can pass the signs along to another friend when you’re done with these (so they don’t end up in a landfill!) From there the idea of Wedding Rentals was born.. and I started to offer this service in my business..
I believe renting vs buying the majority of your Wedding Decor is such a budget friendly and environmentally friendly option when planning your big day! I highly encourage it!
HOW TO RENT FROM Samantha Ann & Co.
If you are interested in learning more.. great! I am going to lay out all the ‘Rules & Guidelines’ when becoming a Wedding Rental client of Samantha Ann & Co….
STEP 1: PICKING A COLLECTION TO RENT: HOW IT WORKS
a) Here we have 5 different Wedding Rental Signage Collections to rent from: The Brown Wood Co, The Grey Wood Co, The Clear Acrylic Co, The Black Co., The Frosted Co. and The White Co.
b) Once you have browsed your options above and have settled on your favourite collection you can click through the button ‘Ready to Book’ on the Main Catalog home page. Sam will review your request and get back to you within 24hrs or so!
c) Within your chosen Collection you are automatically renting 10 items in the form of Wedding Signs for your big day. You may then choose Add-Ons such as more Signage, windows, doors, easels etc! These are all additional items and costs to the 10 items listed in each Collection.
d) Any custom items such as Bridal Hangers, Bridal Bags, Boxes, Keychains etc can be purchased in the Etsy Shop at your own desired pace here. These orders will get shipped to you or you can request to be completed when you need your Wedding Rentals as well!
STEP 2: SECURING YOUR BOOKING: NEXT STEPS
So you have picked your favourite Collection and it is available for your big day! Here is a look at next steps Samantha will prompt you to complete after your initial inquiry!
a) NEW for 2022! You will be receiving your very own online Portal for your Wedding Rental Collection booking process! Once you filled out the Ready to Book form, you will get emails sent to you with next steps to access and complete the booking process!
b) Samantha Ann & Co. requires you to complete a Wedding Rentals contract that will get emailed to you to view and sign!
c) For customizations such as the Chalkboard sections of your Collection etc… you can add all of this in your Wedding Rental Order form. Not to worry if you don’t know everything yet like Menu lists etc right this instance. Just keep it updated as best you can, when you can!
d) As mentioned above for any custom orders such as cake toppers, hangers etc you can purchase all of those through the Etsy Shop. I will automatically ship your item to you unless you add a note at checkout for me instructing to keep it with your Wedding Rentals. Either way is fine!
STEP 3: DELIVERY / PICK UP
Chose your DELIVERY options. Samantha has a deliver and pick up fee for any location in eastern Ontario. Anything West of Oshawa, North of Lindsay, East of Kingston clients will have to arrange their own transportation to receive and return items. You are welcome to pick up your wedding rentals vs opting for delivery no matter where you live!
*Please note Samantha has to approve this and your vehicle of transpiration before this is accepted.
*Delivery includes delivering items to venue by Thursday or Friday before Wedding Weekend and picking up items on Monday. Client does not have to be present, however clear instructions need to be left where to unload and leave items. Venue must be OK with holding Rental items until the Monday morning.
STEP 4: CUSTOM / DAY OF STATIONERY ORDERS

STEP 5: FINAL PAYMENT & WEDDING DAY IS HERE!
Your Wedding Day is almost here! The week leading into your wedding when Samantha is printing off your Wedding Rental Collection order form and completing your Rental Order that is when you will get emailed your final invoice. This is incase your list changes or alters as we approach the Wedding Date! Within the Client Portal I will keep a running total of your Invoice so you are aware of all charges! If you would like to set up a different payment plan, Samantha is more than flexible!
